Wiffleball
LOCATION: Grand Canyon University - Saturday, February 16, 2008. Registration
7:45-8:15am. (33rd Ave. and Camelback). Games start at approximately 8:15am.
ENTRY FEES: $55 per team.
ENTRY DEADLINES: Early registration (postmarked on or before) February 2, 2008. After
that date add $20 late fee. Late entry deadline (must be received) by February 9, 2008.
Any entry after February 9th needs Commissioner approval.
DIVISIONS:
ADULT RECREATIONAL - Players must pitch the ball at a speed that gives
hitters reasonable amount of time to hit the ball.
YOUTH RECREATIONAL - This division is for any children
14 years of age and younger. Children must be 14 years or younger at the date of the tournament
(February 16, 2008). **All divisions are open to male and female athletes of ANY age or skill. The skill that youmust possess to participate in any of the divisions is the skill of having fun.
RULES: Teams consist of 2-5 players. All teams are guaranteed 4 games. After the 4 round robin games
an elimination tournament will begin for all qualifying teams. HR contest and other prize giveaways! No
metal cleats are permitted. Teams will ONLY use the yellow Wiffle brand Wiffle Ball bat and ball and
should supply their own equipment. Please go to www.azwiffle.com for a complete list of rules. All teams
should also allow time to play games on Sunday if rain or other issues force a second day to finish the
tournament.
EQUIPMENT & UNIFORMS: Uniforms are not required but welcome. All equipment used in the
tournament should be provided by the teams. No gloves are allowed.

The top finisher (gold medal winner) in the Winter Games in each division will be awarded free entry into
that sport if offered in the International Summer Games.
