Winter Games

Tennis

 

This winter competition will be utilizing the Double Elimination or ConsolationDraw to guarantee 2 matches. This State Games tournament will be sanctioned by the USTA. So please sign-up early to assure your participation. Each Draw limited to the 1st sixteen entrants per division. Awards will follow the completion of each division.

 

LOCATION: February 24-26, 2012 – ASU Whiteman Tennis Center on the ASU Campus. 800 E. 6th Street, Tempe, AZ 85287

 

ENTRY FEES: $30 first event, $15 each additional event.

 

ENTRY DEADLINE: Early entry deadline (postmarked on or before) February 11,2012. After that date add $15 late fee. Late Entry Deadline must be received in the State Games Office February 19, 2012. Any entry after February 19th will be accepted only with Commissioners’ approval and based on space availability-add late entry fee.

 

REGISTRATION OPTIONS INCLUDE: going to the USTA website at www.usta.com, GCSG website at www.gcsg.org or mail/fax the downloadable version of the entry form to the location listed on the entry form.

 

DIVISIONS: (Players may enter up to 2 events) USTA Rules will govern play.

This sport “IS” part of the Grand Canyon State Summer Games. Entry materials for the other Summer Games sports will be available online at the Grand Canyon State Games website at www.gcsg.org  statewide beginning in April 2012.
