LOCATION: Grand Canyon University - March 1-2, 2008. Play may be needed
on Friday evening Feb. 29th.This event is a co-operative effort between the
Grand Canyon State Games and many of the adult soccer programs in Arizona.
IN ADDITION: ALL Competitors qualify for the State Games of the West Championships
in Colorado Springs, Colorado on July 24-27, 2008. Eight thousand athletes from thirteen
Western States, competing for State pride & medals, are expected at venues such as the US Air
Force Academy & the US Olympic Training Center.
ENTRY DEADLINE: Early registration (must be postmarked on or before)
February 16, 2008. Late entry deadline February 23, 2008 (in State Games office). Any
entry after February 23rd will be accepted only with Commissioners approval-add $20 Late fee.
AGE GROUP DIVISIONS: Premier, Division 1, Div 2, over 50s and over 60s in both Men's &
Women's and Co-ed. *All play is 11 per side.
COSTS: $380 per team. No player passes required.

The top finisher (gold medal winner) in the Winter Games in each division will be awarded free entry into
that sport if offered in the International Summer Games.

This sport is “NOT” part of the International Games but “IS” part of the Phoenix competition(s). Entry materials for the International Games
and Phoenix competition(s) will be available at all Fulton Homes Communities, APS locations, Sleep America stores, and Keller Williams Realty
locations statewide beginning in April 2008.
