Skiing and Snowboarding
LOCATION: Arizona Snowbowl for Alpine events, February 27-28, 2010.
EVENTS:*Skiing & Snowboarding Giant Slalom* on the Phoenix/Agassiz runs
(Intermediate/Advanced Racers) *Saturday & S unday, February 27-28, 2010, registration
from 7:30am-9:00am each morning at the Agassiz Lodge (Intermediate/Advanced
racers). *The race will be a two run format with combined times. Racing begins at 10:30am.
Skier/Boarder Cross in the terrain park (13 years old and older only). *Saturday, February 27th,
registration from 7:30-9:00am in the Agassiz Lodge.
*Race will be a dual (head-to-head) elimination event. Racing begins at 10:30am.
AGES:
Skiing and Snowboarding Giant Slalom (ages as of 12-31-09):
6 and under, 7-8, 9-10,11-12, 13-14,
15-16, 17-18, 19-25, 26-30, 31-35, 36-40, 41-45, 46-50, 51-60, 61-70, 71-80, 81-90
Skier/Snowboarder Cross (ages as of 12- 31-09):
13-15, 16-18, 19-25, 26-35, 36-45, 46-55, 56+
*Must be at least 13yrs of age to compete in this event. Note: Helmets required for S kier Cross and Boarder
Cross events. Helmets recommended for Giant Slalom events.
DIVISION/COSTS: Skier Giant Slalom-$25, Snowboard Giant Slalom-$25, Skiercross-$25, Boardcross-$25.Lift Ticket is required and is offered by the Arizona Snowbowl at half price.
ENTRY PROCEDURES:Registration is taken up to and on race day but early sign-up is strongly encouraged.
No registration will be taken after 9am on Race Day. Entry form and registration available: (1) on-line at
www.flagstaffskiclub.org. (2) by mail at Flagstaff S ki Club, (2 S . Beaver #118, Flagstaff, AZ. 86001) by calling
the ski club at 928-773-9707 or Arizona S nowbowl at 928-779-1951. Registration is NOT taken on the
Grand Canyon State Games entry form, website or at the State Games Office.
