Golf - Youth/Adult
LOCATION: Bougainvillaea Golf Club - Saturday afternoon,
April 19, 2008. (5740 W. Baseline Rd., Laveen).
IN ADDITION: ALL Competitors qualify for the State Games of the West Championships
in Colorado Springs, Colorado on July 24-27, 2008. Eight thousand athletes from
thirteen Western States, competing for State pride & medals, are expected at venues
such as the US Air Force Academy & the US Olympic Training Center.
TIME: Registration begins at 12:00 pm with Tee-times beginning at 1:00 pm.
ENTRY DEADLINE: Early registration (postmarked on or before) Saturday, April 5, 2008. After that date
add $5 late fee. Late entry deadline Tuesday, April 15, 2008 (in State Games office). Any entry received after
April 15th will be accepted only with Commissioners approval.
AGE DIVISIONS & ENTRY FEE: 9 Hole Teams-parent & child combined score (youth 9-12yrs) - $45, 18 Hole Teamsparent & child combined score (youth 13-18yrs) - $50, Adults- gross/net format (19 yrs & older) - $35 per player. Spectators
will be allowed only if we have sufficient volunteers to support the event. Field Size may be limited.
RULES: Players to provide own equipment including balls, cost includes golf carts and practice balls.

* Please note dress code - must wear collared shirt, no jeans, cut-offs, spandex or tennis shorts allowed.

The top finisher (gold medal winner) in the Winter Games in each division will be awarded free entry into
that sport if offered in the International Summer Games.
