LOCATION: Saturday, March 31, 2012 –Chaparral Lake in Scottsdale (Hayden & Chaparral). Check-in opens at 8am at SOUTH END Ramada. Event starts at 9am- 11am.
AGES: Youth ONLY – 9 & U & 10-13 years Divisions ONLY. Boys & Girls.
ENTRY FEES: $10 per person. NO FISHING LICENSE required as this is a 13 & Under event. Gold, Silver & Bronze medals (1st, 2nd & 3rd) presented to winners shortly after 11am on-site.
ENTRY DEADLINES: Early entry deadline (postmarked on or before) March 17, 2012. Late entry ON-SITE accepted with Commissioners’ approval and will be based on space availability.
RULES: Arizona Games and Fish will be on-site to monitor the competition. This is a CATCH & RELEASE event. Fish will be measured to select winners, not weighted in the following species categories – Rainbow Trout, Catfish, Carp, Bluegill, Bass & a Misc Categories. 1 pole in water per participant at a time. Participants must provide their own bait, poles & fishing gear.

This sport is “NOT” part of the Grand Canyon State Summer Games. Entry materials for the other Summer Games sports will be available online at the Grand Canyon State Games website at www.gcsg.org statewide beginning in April 2012.
