LOCATION: Westworld Equestrian Center - January 12-13, 2008.
(16601 N. Pima Road, Scottsdale).
ENTRY PROCEDURE: Visit the Collman Equestrian Productions website at www.cepshows.com for the premium list, schedule, entry blank and other information
or email them at GCSGequestrian@aol.com to request a book by mail. Be sure to send
your complete address, including zip code. Registration IS NOT taken on Grand Canyon
State Games entry forms or at the State Games office.
ENTRY DEADLINE: Entries (postmarked on or before) Friday, January 4, 2008. Entries submitted after this
deadline may be accepted, but will be subject to late fees.
RULES: All USEF rules including tack, equipment and attire will apply. Exception: A horse may be ridden by
different riders in the same class / division. Each horse / rider combination is considered a separate entry and
must wear their assigned number at all times while competing. At least three entries are required to hold a
class. This is a recognized AHJA Category II competition. Children’s riders are 17 years of age and under. AA
riders are amateur riders 18 years of age and older.
ENTRY FEES: Walk-Trot and Crossrail Divisions - $85 each; Hunter Divisions C, D, E, F - $110 each; Jumper
Divisions $85 each; individual classes $25 each; warm-up classes $20 each. A $25 Office Fee and $1 AHJA Fee
will be charged for each horse / rider combination. Entries accepted after the entry closing date will be
subject to a $20 Late Fee per horse / rider combination.
STABLING: Day Stalls (7:00am to 7:00pm either day) are available for $55 and include two bags of shavings.
Overnight Stalls (Friday to Saturday or Saturday to Sunday) are $70 and include two bags of shavings.
Weekend Stalls (Friday to Sunday) are $85 and include two bags of shavings. Haul-ins are $25 per day. All
horses must pay either a Stall or Haul-In fee, but not both.
- HUNTER DIVISIONS
- Hunter Division A - Walk-Trot: Poles on the ground - 2 classes over fences & 2 classes flat (walk-trot only).
- Hunter Division B - Crossrails: 18” crossrails - 2 classes over fences & 2 classes on the flat.
- Hunter Division C - Low Child / AA: 2’0” to 2’3” - 3 classes over fences & 2 classes on the flat.
- Hunter Division D - Modified Child / AA: 2’3” to 2’6” - 3 classes over fences & 2 classes on the flat.
- Hunter Division E - Child / AA: 2’6” to 2’9” - 3 classes over fences & 2 classes on the flat.
- Hunter Division F - Open Hunter: 2’9”-3’0” - 3 classes over fences & 2 classes on the flat.
- JUMPER DIVISIONS
- Jumper Division G - Puddle Jumpers: 2’3” to 2’6” – 3 classes over fences & 1 class on the flat.
- Jumper Division H - Beginner Jumpers: 2’6” to 2’9” – 3 classes over fences & 1 class on the flat.
- Jumper Division I - Low Child / AA Jumpers: 2’6” to 2’9” – 3 classes over fences & 1 class on the flat.
- Jumper Division J - Schooling Jumpers: 2’9” to 3’0” – 3 classes over fences & 1 class on the flat.
- Jumper Division K - Training Jumpers: 3’0” to 3’3” – 3 classes over fences & 1 class on the flat.
- Jumper Division L - Open Jumpers: 3’3” to 3’6” – 3 classes over fences & 1 class on the flat.
NOTE: To be eligible for a championship award, you must enter the entire division.
