LOCATION: Saturday, June 13, 2009 - Performance One 1555 South Gilbert Road, Suite 107, Gilbert, AZ
EVENTS: Division I – Push Pull (Bench Press, Clean, & Dead Lift).
Division II – Olympic-Style Weightlifting (Snatch & Clean and Jerk).
ENTRY FEES: Division I – Push Pull $15 per event $30 for all three. Day of Entry (6/13)
$25 per event $60 for all three. Division II - Weightlifting $20. Day of Entry (6/13) $40.
ENTRY DEADLINE: Early registration (postmarked on or before) June 3, 2009. Entries not
taken on the Grand Canyon State Games entry form, website, or at the State Games

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE OF COMPETITION:
SESSION 1: Push Pull All Women: 48, 53, 58, 63, 69, 75, 75+. WEIGH IN 8-9:00 AM.
LIFT at 10:00 AM.
SESSION 2: Olympic-Style Weightlifting: (All Divisions), WOMEN: 48, 53, 58, 63, 69, 75,
75+ Kilos. MEN: 56, 62, 69, 77, 85, 94, 105, 105+ -Kilo. WEIGH IN: 10-11:00 AM. LIFT at 12:00 PM.
SESSION 3: Push Pull All Men: 56, 62, 69, 77, 85, 94, 105, 105+ -Kilo. WEIGH IN 12-1 PM. LIFT at 2:00 PM.
TECHNICAL CLINIC: Prior to the start of the day's competition, all technical questions, and a general
rules clinic will be conducted (if necessary before subsequent sessions). *Anyone who does not attend
the Technical Conference agrees to accept all decisions made at the Technical conference.
RULES: This is a non-sanctioned power lifting meet. The weightlifting division will be sanctioned by USA
Weightlifting. Current NASA Power lifting rules will be followed for the bench press and dead lift portion of
the competition. Registration and age is required at weigh in. ALL participants are required at weigh in to
produce government documents, (i.e. birth certificate, drivers license), and/or Picture ID. Weightlifters must
be current USAW Members to compete.
AWARDS: For best in weight class by Division (School Age, Juniors, Seniors, & Masters). Awards for Best
Overall Male and Female.
