International Summer Games

 

Tennis

 

This summer competition will be utilizing the Double Elimination or Consolation Draw to guarantee 2 matches. This State Games tournament will be sanctioned – sign-up early to assure your participation. Each Draw limited to the 1st sixteen entrants per division. Awards will follow each division. Awards to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners plus consolation as well.


LOCATION: June 3-5, 2011 - Whiteman Tennis Center on the ASU campus.


HOTEL INFORMATION: For Summer Games accommodations in Phoenix, please contact the official Hotel of the GCSG, the Doubletree Guest Suites Phoenix for a special Summer Games room rate. Please call 602-225-0500 for details.


ENTRY FEES: $25 first event, $15 each additional event. All Players must be members of the USTA.


ENTRY DEADLINE: Early entry deadline (submitted on or before) May 21, 2011. After that date add $10 late fee. Late entry deadline May 30, 2011 (must be received in the Games office). Any entry after May 30th will be accepted only with Commissioners' approval and will be based on space availability - add $10 late fee.

 

Registration options include : going to the USTA website at www.usta.com, GCSG website at www.gcsg.org or mail/fax enclosed entry form to the location listed on the enclosed entry form. Draws, and Match times will be posted at USTA.com after June 1, 2011.


DIVISIONS: (Players may enter up to 2 events) USTA Rules will govern play.
