Racquetball

LOCATION: Thursday, June 11 thru 14, 2009 - The Sports Club at City Square. Local players within a 50 mile radius will be expected to play on Thursday Night June 11th from 5-9pm. Ektelon Premium Select Blue Ball used in this tournament.

ENTRY FEES: Adults $25 first event; $16 each additional event. Juniors $15 first event; $10 each additional event. Events limited to 2 events per person. On-line entries for Racquetball taken at http://www.azracquetball.com.

ENTRY DEADLINE: Early entry deadline (postmarked on or before) Wed. June 3, 2009. After that date - add $10 late fee. Late entry deadline (in the State Games Office) June 7, 2009. Any entry after June 7th accepted only with Commissioners’ approval and will be based on availability - add $10 late fee.Consolation Rounds will be available for draws of 6 or more players/teams. First round losers will have the option of signing up to play in a consolation round. A deadline for signing up will be posted at the tournament desk (at the beginning of the tournament), as well as the sign up sheets.

DIVISIONS: Sanctioned and Non-Sanctioned events offered in 2009. Sanctioned compete for points for State & National Rankings. Players must have a current USA Racquetball card. USA Racquetball membership cards will be available at the Tournament desk. ($50 annual fee). *Arizona Junior Racquetball Program Development League Championships.

RULES: Starting times will be available online at www.gcsg.org, http://www.azracquetball.com
after 5 pm on Wednesday June 10, 2009.
• USA Racquetball rules will be used for all tournament play. Events with 4 or less will be Round Robin format all other events will be 2 games to 15 with a tie-breaker to 11 (if necessary). Juniors will be Round Robin format.
• Lensed eyewear must meet ASTM approval.
• Out-of-town players must be available for play on Friday, June 12th after 5 pm, or make a comment on your entry stating what time you will be available to play and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
• Tournament Director reserves the right to combine events as deemed necessary. All events will be self officiated.
