International Summer Games

 

Karate

 

LOCATION: Saturday June 4, 2011 - Phoenix Prep. Academy, Phoenix. Event starts at approximately 10:00 a.m.

HOTEL INFORMATION: For Summer Games accommodations in Phoenix, please contact the official Hotel of the GCSG, the Doubletree Guest Suites
Phoenix for a special Summer Games room rate. Please call 602-225-0500 for details.

ENTRY FEE: $25 for up to 3 events. Additional events are $5 extra excluding team events. $30 for team events. ON-SITE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED.

ENTRY DEADLINE: Early entry deadline (submitted on or before) Saturday May 21, 2011. Registration taken up to and on the day of the event starting at 9 a.m. until 10 a.m.

DIVISIONS: Divisions may be adjusted to serve all competitors: children, youth/adults/men/women, beginning, intermediate, advanced and black belt competitors. In addition to filling out the State Games entry form, a tournament entry form may be required with a more complete breakdown of divisions.

KATA/KUMITE/KOBUDO: All competitors must wear a clean white Karate uniform (GI). All competitorsmust have their own Kumite (free-sparring) equipment which includes a mouthpiece, a set of hand pads, and males must wear a protective supportive cup. Instructor should help students sign-up for correct events.

RULES: WKF MODIFIED RULES.
*NOTE: Black Belts please bring your whistle and must attend judges meeting.
