International Summer Games
Four-on-Four Flag Football
LOCATION: June 21, 2008 - Kiwanis Park (soccer fields) in Tempe. No games will be played on Friday. This will be a morning event.
IN ADDITION: By participating all competitors automatically qualify for the State
Games of the West Championships in Colorado Springs, Colorado on July 24-27, 2008.
The event will feature approximately 8,000 athletes from thirteen Western States
competing for State pride & medals. Competition will be held at venues such as the US
Air Force Academy & the US Olympic Training Center.
ENTRY FEES: $225 per team Top Gunner; $200 per team Recreation & Competitive Divisions; $150 per
team Junior Divisions.
ENTRY DEADLINES: Early Entry Deadline (postmarked on or before) Saturday June 7, 2008. After that date -
$20 late fee. Late Entry Deadline (in the State Games Office) June 18, 2008. Any entry after June 18th will
be accepted only with the Commissioners’ approval and will be based on availability - add $20 Late Fee.
RULES: Fast Action Football rules will be utilized. All teams guaranteed at least three games. Games are played to 28 points OR 30 minutes. Teams consist of 6 players, 4 on field and 2 substitutes. All players must wear protective mouth piece. Cleats are allowed, but must be rubber, no metal based spikes. Flagrant contact or fouls will not be allowed. Playing field is 70 yards in length and 25 yards wide. Youth subject to age verification on day of game.
