International Summer Games

 

Diving

 

LOCATION: June 26-27, 2010 - Buckeye Pool (207 N. 9th St in Buckeye). Pool: 623-349-6390.


DIVISIONS:Division I - 2010: Registered AAU or USD divers: Novice, Junior Olympic, Senior, Masters, Grand Masters, Division II - Non USD or non AAU
registered divers: all ages welcome. Both Division I and II Divers may enter Synchronized Dive events on Sunday

 

ENTRY FEES: Division I & II- $13 first event, $7 each add. event.


ENTRY DEADLINES: Division I & II: Early entry prefered by Saturday, June 12, 2010 although late registration accepted up to and on event day up two hours prior to start time. LATE FEES DO NOT APPLY.


CHECK-IN: Required of ALL divers (both divisions) one hour prior to start of event to insure participation and accuracy of dive lists.


DIVE LIST(s):Division I: Include dive list and USD or AAU registration number with entry form. Any changes must be made one hour prior to start of event or must be made on the board. Division II: Dive list completed at registration.


DIVISION I RULES:
(USD Novice, Junior Olympic, Senior, Masters, Grand Masters)
• The competitive list requirements follow the USD Rule Book. AAU follows FINA.


DIVISION II RULES:
(2009 USD or AAU registered divers are ineligible for Division II)

• All ages may compete. Diver's age is determined by his/her age as of June 1st, 2009
• US Diving DD's will be used.
• A "help" table will be available to assist divers in completing their dive sheets.
• Coaches will be on deck to assist with dives.
• Dive List Requirements: 6 & under – 3 dives 7 to 10 – 4 dives 11 to 14 – 5 dives 15 to 34 – 6 dives 35 to 54 – 5 dives 55 & over – 4 dives
*Jumps (100 and 200) and line-ups (001 and 002) are considered “dives.”

 

SYNCHRONIZED RULES: Guidelines listed with event information.


SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: COMPETITION WILL BE CONTINUOUS. Events may be combined based on number of entries.


DIVISION II: Saturday, JUNE 26th, 7:00am: registration/check-in and open warm-up. 7:30 am to 8:15 am: warm-up. 8:30 am: competition begins.

DIVISION II: SUNDAY, June 27th:
7:00 am registration/check-in and open warm-up. 7:30 to 8:45 am: warm up. 9:00 am: competition begins.

SYNCHRONIZED EVENTS: Registration 12:00 pm with warm=up for these events to follow the conclusion Division II 1 & 3-meter events and open to both Division I & II athletes. Teams of two divers of the same age group but can consist of 2 girls, 2 boys or 1 girl/1 boy. Each diver receives an individual score for their respective dive and then the team receives one score for synchronization (hitting the water at the same time and placement from the board) added together and times DD. *Jumps (100 and 200) and line-ups (001 and 002) are considered “dives.”
