Adventure Racing

LOCATION: July 9th, 2011 - Coon Bluff Recreation Area, Lower Salt River, Mesa, AZ. A 6:45 a.m. pre-race meeting (mandatory) with an event start of 7:00 a.m.

ENTRY FEES: $99 - 2 person teams.

ENTRY DEADLINE: Early entry deadline (submitted on or before) Saturday, June 25, 2011. After that date add $30 late fee per team. For entry procedures, please visit www.SierraAdventureSports.com for access to a printable entry form or a link to register electronically through Active.com. Registration is NOT taken on the Grand Canyon State Games Entry Form, Website or at the State Games Office.

COURSE: Adventure Rafting & Trekking (hiking) over a 10-12K course. You will use an easy to read, premarked topographic map to find your way to checkpoints scattered about the Coon Bluff area on foot as well as raft down a mile long section of the salt river. In addition, you will have to complete a few
"Mystery Events" along the way.
