The Lori Piestewa National Native American Games
Volleyball
LOCATION: Notre Dame HS in Scottsdale, AZ. July 18-20, 2008.
IN ADDITION: By participating, all competitors automatically qualify for the State Games
of the West Championships in Colorado Springs, Colorado on July 24-27, 2008. The event will
feature approximately 8,000 athletes from thirteen Western States, competing for State pride &
medals at venues such as the US Air Force Academy & the US Olympic Training Center.
ENTRY FEE: $120 - Indoor with 6 person teams.
ENTRY DEADLINE: Early registration (postmarked on or before) July 5, 2008 after
that date add $20 late fee. Late entry deadline July 15, 2008 (must be received in
the Games Office) - add $20 late fee. Any entry after July 15 2008 will be accepted only with Commissioner’s approval
and will be based on space availability - add $20 late fee.
DIVISIONS: Indoor events - 6 person teams.

Women’s Open
Co-Ed Recreation
Youth 18U-Boys & Girls
*4 of either male or female and 2 of the other per team for Co-Ed
FORMAT: Pool play followed by double elimination tournament, USAVB rules apply. If insufficient
number of teams register, the division will either cancel or teams will be asked to play up. Each athlete
must be at least 1/4 Native American to compete.
